The Dolomites – Northern Italy, Part Two
This leg of the journey took me north into the Italian Alps… away from cities, into valleys, cowbells, and the kind of air that smells

Leaving Trento – Northern Italy, Part 1
Good morning from Trento, Italy.
Today was the kind of day that starts with excitement and uncertainty in equal measure. My first rental car in

Traverse Events in Trento, Italy – A Life Long Journey of Learning
Somewhere between breakfast, church bells, and the sound of a city waking up, I realized something. I hadn’t really “vlogged” much at all today. Instead,

Traverse Events in Trento, Italy
Traverse isn’t really a conference in the traditional sense. It’s more like a series of conversations … workshops, discussions, and shared experiences centered around travel,
About the RoamingCat
I’m an extremely curious man with a passion for travel and learning about the world. I roam from time to time capturing the journey with my camera while keeping mental and written notes about the story’s that unfold.
Presently, I am on a journey to curate some information on this new site of mine based on previous trips, research on desired travel locations, and details from current explorations, all with the hope of sharing this information with other curious and passionate travelers!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention … I also have a cat 🙂
“As I roam through foreign lands, i seek the light that illuminates not just landscapes but also the connections we share, turning every journey into a luminous adventure.”

ABOUT THE CAT
So what exactly is the story of the cat in all of this?
Well, she is actually in my lap as I type all of this. Not exactly roaming about right at the moment, but extremely comfortable and content. She usually saves the “roaming” part of the day till sometime around 2AM.
As far as me, I’ve been a part time roamer and traveler of sorts for most of my life. Recently though, my home life changed up just a bit. Just as I decided to create this site to share my previous travel stories and future nomadic adventure plans, I became the proud owner (or servant to) this cute little feline named Penny. I looked at her as I began brainstorming my ideas for this site and the name just kinda came to me. That’s it … I’m a roaming cat … also.
My thought as I create this site is that I am not alone in this challenge. How to travel with a cat. CAN I travel with a cat? How hard will it be to travel with THIS cat? All questions that I do not have ANY answers to as of yet, but plan to share more on the topic here as well as perhaps my personal experiences!
