This video probably needs a little context.

There isn’t much of a story here, at least not in the traditional sense. It’s mostly me leaving Milan, talking about an airport hotel that surprised me, wandering through a massive airport, complaining about a few things with a smirk on my face, and then finally landing back home… followed by what can only be described as excessive B-roll.
At the very end, though, I do share a collection of images I made on this long trip. That part matters to me.
If you’ve watched any of these Europe videos so far, thank you. I genuinely mean that. I had a lot of fun putting this series together. I’m still figuring out what direction these travel videos will take, but one thing is certain… I’m going to keep making them.
Not because they’re perfect.
Not because they’re polished.
But because I enjoy the process.
And I hope that shows.
A Quick Note About Why This Trip Happened
This entire journey was centered around a conference called Traverse, held in Trento, Italy. That was the anchor point. Everything else grew around it… sometimes loosely, sometimes impulsively.
Being around people who are actively creating, experimenting, and figuring things out in real time has a way of resetting your internal compass. It doesn’t matter what you want to do in life… getting around people who are moving forward tends to pull you along with them.
That part of the trip mattered more than I expected.
About This Video
This is not a highlight reel.
It’s:
- an airport hotel review without meaning to be one
- a reminder that even seasoned travelers get annoyed
- a walk through duty-free spaces we never buy anything from
- and a quiet landing back home
If you’re looking for structure, this probably isn’t the video for that.
If you’re okay with mood, observation, and a bit of wandering… you’ll be just fine.
Stick around to the end if you want to see the images. That’s where the trip finally exhales.
One Last Thought
I talk a lot about wanting these videos to balance entertainment, information, and inspiration. I don’t always hit that mark. Sometimes I miss it completely. But I’m learning as I go.
And for now, that feels like enough.
Alright… that’s it.
Let’s just start the video.
