So here we are again, starting this entire process over again. I almost had the site complete and ready to publish, then steered off course and messed with another theme and site skin. I then proceeded to REALLY mess things up on my own till I had to do a complete wordpress reset …. TWICE!
So back to square one. Have been using Nick’s course about setting up your travel blog and should have just stayed with the plan instead of wandering off the path and testing new themes. He does a fantastic job and walking you through, from start to finish, suggests plugins, discusses design, etc. He also has a great course on SEO that intend to finish taking (and implementing, not that I am doing any of that yet!)
Just staying the course here and for now, as I work thru the course again this week. The goals are as follows:
- Keep posting on a regular schedule, eventually getting to the topic of travel!
- Get thru the course again, and thus finish the site buildout
- Publish the site as live within 14 days
- Take the Elementor course to really understand the plugin
- Plan out the posts for heading into the start of 2024
