Do I see a theme developing here? Perhaps.
I tend to celebrate these special “views” when I get them. Sometimes it’s a crapshoot, but more than not, it works out for me! I guess I kinda plan a bit to get them to be honest. Upon check in, I usually try to let them know that I am a travel photographer and time-lapser of sorts and would really appreciate a room with a view if at all possible. Being nice to them helps!
I should really make a practice of reaching out to the marketing department to share some of my images post trip now that I think of it. Remind me next time 🙂
There was so much to absorb from this amazing room and with floor to ceiling windows, I was NOT disappointed. This is the view (zoomed in) of the ski jump from the Olympics! I created a video from the stay here if you are interested. I make it to the hotel at about the 11:30 mark 🙂
As is often the case, I blazed in and out of the town without seeing too much. On this trip, I was just stopping by on my way to a travel conference in Italy. So much to see though, especially from this hotel view! If I had the time though (and will again someday soon on a future trip), I would slow down a bit and absorb a bit more of this beautiful location. Till then, here is a quick guide for that!
